Dr. Marina Isac is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive and individualized care for patients with a wide range of foot and ankle conditions. Her approach to patient care centers on listening closely to her patients, understanding their individual goals, and developing treatment plans designed to restore function and help them return to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Isac attended Georgia State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine.

During residency, she received comprehensive surgical training in foot and ankle trauma, reconstruction, deformity correction, sports-related injuries, diabetic limb salvage, and the medical and surgical management of conditions affecting the foot and ankle.

Following residency, Dr. Isac pursued additional advanced surgical training through a Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship at Kentuckiana Foot and Ankle Specialists in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Isac has a particular interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports-related injuries, foot and ankle trauma, ankle instability, arthroscopy, flatfoot and cavus reconstruction, complex deformity correction, and total ankle replacement. She believes treatment should be tailored to each individual patient and works closely with her patients to explore appropriate conservative and surgical options.

In addition to her clinical and surgical training, Dr. Isac has remained active in academic medicine and professional education. Her research and presentations have focused on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, complications associated with progressive flatfoot deformity, Achilles tendon reconstruction, and sports medicine.
